About Us
Est. 2009
Our Vision
To disrupt the cycle of recidivism.
Our Mission
To empower justice involved youth to find purpose, launch a career, and end generational poverty.
Our Purpose Statement
“We are continually transforming ourselves and empowering others through sacrifice.”
In 2009, Jail to Jobs began as a non-profit organization offering Bible studies in juvenile detention facilities. Despite seeing great success for the youth’s desire to change after being released, they were being locked right back up again. In order to lower the recidivism rate, we recognized the need for a more holistic, influential, and sustainable approach to influencing these newly-released youth.
In order for the youth to find purpose, personal growth and achievement, we developed our program to include employment-based mentoring. Most of the Jail to Jobs staff are ex-felons with a pasts that allow them to relate to the youth we serve while positively influencing them. The Jail to Jobs youth earn a paycheck while learning skills in our program and we teach them how to budget their money and help them get their basic physical needs like meals, housing, clothes and transportation. We understand how crucial it is for the youth to develop strong character traits in order to make good decisions, build self-respect and maintain employment. In everything we do, we encourage their emotional and spiritual development with free counseling, mentorship and Bible studies. We do all this with the help and support of local businesses and the community.
Our youth’s recidivism rate dropped to less than 15% from 75% after completing the Jail to Jobs program.

MEET OUR TEAM
Jail to Jobs could not be successful without a great team working together to impact the youth we serve. Each team member represents one piece of the puzzle. We are a family that serves together, plays together, and succeeds together. We have seen the struggles this world has to offer and we know that to overcome them, holistic support is needed. We are excited to be a part of our youth’s support and success.
